Role Description:

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Recruiter to join the Global Corporate and Investment Banking Talent Acquisition team, focusing on Junior Talent recruitment. Working closely with the EMEA Head of GCIB TA, the successful individual will help the firm attract, select, hire and develop diverse Junior Talent pipelines into the Bank.

This role will be focused on supporting our Investment Banking hires in our EMEA countries as well as our Enterprise Credit and Global Transaction Services business.
  • Help design, deliver and manage a variety of programmes throughout the year consisting of insights, internships and full time hiring ranging from A level students through to Graduates and beyond.
  • Oversee candidate management process from on-campus events through to assessment, offer and closing process in order to attract and hire the best candidates.
  • Work closely with Campus Marketing & University Relations team to create and deliver campus strategy across the EMEA region.
  • Work closely with the Talent Diversity & Inclusion team to ensure best practice in attracting & selecting a diverse workforce.
  • Develop close working relationships with key stakeholders including business sponsors at all levelsto ensure the campus strategy is embedded in the business agenda.
  • Partnership with Global Campus Recruiting teams to enable global reach of campus programmes and leverage best practice.
  • Manage and leverage relationships with HR generalists, Learning & Development, Diversity and other internal groups as appropriate.

The Team:

This role sits within the GCIB TA team where Lateral and Junior Talent colleagues work together to deliver cohesive Talent Acquisition solutions to our clients. The broader EMEA Junior Talent teams comprises ~30 persons across the UK and Europe including Marketing and University Relations specialists, Administration function and Recruiters and Associate Recruiters.

The Junior Talent Recruitment teams are busy, high energy team, dealing with a large volume of applications and hires.Peak campus activity occurs September - March when the bulk of the events are held on campus and the majority of applications are received.

Alongside the Summer Internship Programme which runs across all business areas for 10 weeks during the summer, we run a Spring Insight week for A level students as well as a number of other Fixed Term Placement programmes which run throughout the first half of the year.

Key skills:
  • A solid knowledge of graduate recruitment gained from experience in a similar role. Ideally with experience supporting Investment Banking client base (not essential) or other Financial Services clients
  • Experience dealing with multiple stakeholders at varying levels and across different locations
  • Expert administration, organisational and time management skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Proven presentation skills
  • Confident influencing and decision facilitation skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills along with an ability to interact and develop networks in a professional manner with Employees across the Bank
  • Strong team and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in pressured environment while maintaining enthusiasm
  • Competent user ofMS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint;
  • Flexibility to travel, both UK & Europe
